Greek Travel Agents Reach Out to Professionals from the Middle East

hattaThe Hellenic Association of Travel and Tourist Agencies (HATTA) will host a familiarization trip in Athens for tour operators and journalists from Kuwait and Bahrain during 4-8 December.

The fam trip will aim to introduce Greece as a tourism destination and include a sightseeing tour of the main sights and attractions of Athens, a visit to Cape Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon and also a one-day cruise to three of the most picturesque islands near Athens: Egina, Poros and Hydra.

During the fam trip, the foreign tour operators and journalists will visit the 1st Greek Tourism Expo exhibition that will be running at the Athens Metropolitan Expo.

The foreign tour operators will also have B2B meetings with HATTA members.

Gulf Air is the main sponsor of the event.  The principal flag carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Gulf Air connects Greece to Bahrain with direct flights and also has non-stop connections to all the cities of the Arab world.

The gold sponsors of the fam trip are hotels Grande Bretagne and King George and the silver sponsors include Aktina Travel Services, Amphitrion Group, Athens Plaza Hotel, Electra Hotels & Resorts, Hellenic Professional Yacht Owners Association (EPEST), G.O.
