Louis plc Posts 9M Profits

Louis plc recently reported an 11.5 percent increase in turnover for the first nine months of 2014 compared to the same period in 2013, amounting to 192.6 million euros.

Louis plc, which operates in the marine tourism, cruises and hotels sector, said in a statement that this was a result of a 14.4 percent increase for Louis Cruises, coming to 13.9 million euros, and a 7.8 percent rise for Louis Hotels, resulting in 6 million euros.

The group’s operating profit before provisions for the first nine months of 2014 grew by 23.4 percent, amounting to 63.1 million euros compared to 51.2 million euros in the corresponding period last year.

The group reported improved net results for the first nine months of 2014 at 10.8 million euros compared to the year-ago period. Profit before taxation increased by 66.5 percent amounting to 12.7 million euros.
