A Big Heart!” is the new slogan of the northern Greek city to promote tourism throughout the country and abroad. The new campaign was presented today, 10 December, in Thessaloniki, and is an initiative of Marketing Greece in collaboration with the Region of Central Macedonia, the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the Thessaloniki Hotels Association. “Thessaloniki offers a unique pulse, the warmth of its people, a love for life that is reflected in every corner of the city and steals the hearts of its visitors. This is the Thessaloniki we want to highlight through the campaign,” the general manager of Marketing Greece, Iosif Parsalis, said. The new campaign was conceived to inform the world all about Thessaloniki — that it is a city that knows how to live, love and embrace people, cultures and diversities. To inform that Thessaloniki is one big heart! The campaign will run in Greece, the Balkans, Turkey, Russia, Israel, Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom and Italy. As part of the campaign, the creators are also running a competition. Travelers that share their story or photograph of what made them fall in love with Thessaloniki will have the opportunity to win a magical holiday.
