The video takes us back some 2.5 million years and shows all of the island’s formative stages through volcanic eruptions and earthquakes. The video, which is based on research of various scientists, institutes and universities, was created by Nikos Korakakis. Santorini’s “birth” video has a Greek voice-over and English subtitles.
