The Falakro ski center on the outskirts of Drama, northeastern Greece, is set to begin full operations after local authorities gave the green light for licensing and for the necessary repairs to be carried out.

Founded in 1980, in the East Macedonia and Thrace region, the Falakro ski center has remained idle for several years due licensing and infrastructure issues.

Under the supervision of the Region of Eastern Macedonia-Thrace, the Social Cooperative Corporation has received a five-year license to operate the Falakro ski center.
