Central Macedonia has taken center stage at 31 metro stations in the Greek capital in efforts to establish the region as a leading year-round destination.

Macedonia_Metro_1Commuters had the chance to learn more about the region’s tourist offerings via the promotional campaign, which ran through the holiday season and was jointly organized by the Region of Central Macedonia and Attiko Metro.

“In collaboration with Attiko Metro, we implemented a targeted campaign of our tourism product,” Central Macedonia regional governor Apostolos Tzitzikostas said.

He added that the region’s priorities include promoting Macedonia as a prime tourist destination all year round.
