Travel Trade Athens 2015 Set to Build Bridges, Boost Tourism

The 3rd Travel Trade Athens workshop, set for April 27, in the Greek capital, will again this year bring together tourism industry professionals with the aim to introduce the country’s offerings and promote the Greek experience.

TTA2015_purple_smallTravel Trade Athens, an annual two-day travel event organized by the municipality of Athens, will host international buyers, suppliers and industry insiders who will get a chance through pre-arranged appointments to meet up, talk and do business.

At the same time, interested parties can participate in a series of insider tours to explore the latest trends in Athens, social events providing a glimpse into genuine Greek hospitality and targeted, pre-arranged meetings.

This year, buyers active in leisure and city break, MICE specialists as well as travel editors, journalists and bloggers will have a chance to get hands-on experience of Athens and Greece through a series of fam trips.

The two-day event is jointly organized by the City of Athens Convention and Visitors Bureau (ACVB) and the European Tour Operators Association (ETOA).

Free participation for Greek tourism professionals

This year, there will be no participation cost for Greek enterprises wishing to participate in the Travel Trade Athens event.

According to organizers, participants will be selected after submitting an application. Priority will be given to ACVB members. Non-members will be selected following an evaluation process (details will be announced soon).
