The Greek isles have been included in Eurail’s new pass, giving young travelers the chance to visit Greece’s islands by ferry. The “Attica Pass: A Greek Island Hopping Pass” offers two international trips with Italy as a jumping-off point and six ferry crossings a month. Travelers are then transferred by rail or bus from the port of Patras to the port of Piraeus. The Attica Pass comes as one of the latest products by Eurail, which is expanding into new destinations, this year including Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Poland and Serbia, and diversifying with the Children Travel Free initiative, the first-class Youth Pass and the 5-in-10 days Global Pass. Dedicated to the marketing and management of the Eurail and Interrail passes, the Eurail Group is owned by 30 participating railways and shipping companies and works with hotels, transport companies and museums, offering services at reduced rates or free of charge to pass holders. Eurail passes are available from a worldwide network of authorized sales agents. For more information, press here.
