Aegean Airlines Announces Larnaca – Tel Aviv Direct Flights

aegean1aGreek carrier Aegean Airlines, drawing advantage from the liberalization of traffic rights to Israel and aiming to grow its presence in Cyprus, has announced the launch of Larnaca – Tel Aviv direct flights.

As of February 3 and until the completion of the company’s winter schedule, Aegean will connect Larnaca with Tel Aviv, three times a week.

With the start of the airline’s summer 2015 schedule, Aegean will operate daily non – stop flights between the two destinations.

The flights will be operated with one of the youngest fleets in Europe, comprising 56 aircraft, after the airline’s recent investment in new additional Airbus A320ceos.

According to Aegean’s summer timetable, the airline will operate four Airbus A320 aircraft from Larnaca’s base, while the number of destinations connected directly with Cyprus will increase to 14. In regards to direct connections with Greece and seven other countries, total year capacity will exceed 1.5 million seats.
