The sixth edition of the “Sympossio-Greek Gourmet Touring” initiative is supported by the Greek International Tourism Organization and held in partnership with Greek producers and tour operators. Aldemar is promoting synergies and wants to spread the message that “together we can do better” to boost Greece’s image and create favorable conditions for growth through the country’s culinary culture, products and services. Sympossio 2015 theme: 4 Seasons Greece For Sympossio 2015, the culinary team of Aldemar has prepared a cooking and dining experience that runs through the four seasons, thus highlighting the seasonality and locality of Greek cuisine and eating habits and the country’s culture and traditions. Sympossio 2015: This year’s journey Sympossio start’s this year from Italy. The 6th Sympossio’s journey to Western and Eastern Europe will kick off in Italy and wrap up in Ukraine. – Italy (16/2-Milan, 17/02-Bologna, 18/02-Pesaro, 24/02-Rome, 25/02-Florence, 26/02-Turin) – Germany (10-12/3) – France (17/03-Nancy, 18/03-Bordeaux, 19/02-Lyon) – Slovakia, London, Russia (24-26/3) – Ukraine (15/4) According to Aldemar, by promoting Greece, its products and gastronomic culture through the Sympossio interactive experience and synergies, a positive image for the country can be created and sustainable opportunities for tourism and all activities surrounding it (production, services, exports) can be achieved.
