Spyrou Group Appoints New Manager for Hotels on Skopelos

The Spyrou Hotels & Companies group has appointed Thomas Zisopoulos as manager of the Blue Green Bay and Elios Holidays Hotel on Skopelos.

Mr. Zisopoulos is a graduate of the IHK School of Hotel and Tourism Management in Germany. He joins Spyrou Hotels following positions in both Germany and Austria where he worked at international chains such as Kempinski, Steigenberger and Sheraton.

He was also the director of the G-Hotels and Porto Carras in Halkidiki and has worked in hotels in the Peloponnese and Cyprus.

According to the president and CEO of Spyrou Hotels, Vassilis Spyrou, front-line staff is necessary for the hotel group to reach its ambitious objectives.

“Despite the adverse conditions, Spyrou Hotels continues to invest in the tourism industry,” he said in an announcement.

The Elios Holidays Hotel is the latest addition to the portfolio of Spyrou Hotels and as of February 10 the hotel chain embarked on a new activity dubbed “Spyrou Philoxenia” that offers marketing, sales, consulting and e-Bookings services to independent hoteliers.

“Under the principle ‘Risk-free Return of Investment’ our partner hoteliers will benefit from technology and next-generation methods that ensure the sustainability and an impressive profitability of their units,” Mr. Spyrou added.
