Date Announced For Tourism Awards 2015 Ceremony in Athens

Tourism_Awards_2015The evaluation period of the nominations for the 2015 Tourism Awards that will recognize the best practices, strategies and most innovative initiatives in Greek tourism, has come to an end.

The 16-member judging committee, chaired by Former Tourism Minister Nikos Skoulas, has evaluated a record number of entries from leading companies in the Greek tourism sector.

The Tourism Awards 2015 award ceremony will take place Thursday, March 12, at the Megaron Athens Concert Hall.

In its second year, the Tourism Awards will once again seek to identify, highlight and reward excellence across the tourism industry in Greece.

The 10 main award categories are: Strategy and Innovation, Customer Experience, Specialty Offering, Gastronomy, Facilities & Architecture, Digital & Social Marketing, Travel & Transportation, Branding – Public Relations & People Strategy, Technology and Sustainability & Operations.

The Tourism Awards are organized by Boussias Communications and Hotel & Restaurant magazine and held under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organization.

GTP is among the main communication sponsors of the event.
