The lunch was held at the Acropolis Museum restaurant in honor of the Chinese Ambassador to Greece Zou Xiaoli, representatives of leading Chinese media and the crew of the cruise ship Costa Atlantica. The Costa Atlantica’s 86-day Around-the-World cruise began on March 1 and will take around 1,000 passengers to 28 destinations in 18 countries on five continents. These include the Maldives; Greece; Italy; France; Spain; Portugal; the United States; and the Polynesian paradise islands of Maui and Hawaii. “They are impressed by our country that has nice weather and by our beautiful islands. They told us that they love Greece very much, they are familiar with our culture and history”, Ms. Kountoura said in a statement. “The Chinese travel all around the world and I believe that Greece can become a top destination and satisfy even the most discerning guest.” Costa Atlantica arrived in Piraeus Port on Saturday morning following calls at Heraklion Port in Crete and Santorini Port on Friday.
