Organised by the Porto Carras Grand Resort in cooperation with Xterra Greece, the 2nd Porto Carras Half Marathon includes the 21km half marathon, the 5 and 10km road races, the 1,000, 2,500 and 5,000m swimming races as well as kiddies’ road and swimming races. Anyone over 18 can register either online at www.xterragreece.com or www.portocarrasmarathon.com and the entry fee includes a medal, a commemorative T-shirt, access to feeding / aid stations, a bathing cap (for competing swimmers) and electronic timing. The children’s events are free of charge. Besides being the main event organiser, the Porto Carras Grand Resort offers participants, their friends and family, special privileged room rates at its five-star Meliton and Sithonia hotels. Athletes must check in at the Porto Carras Grand Resort at least two hours ahead of the scheduled starting time in order to collect their race pack from the registration office. Awards will be given during special ceremonies at the end of each day.
