Stavros Katsikadis was re-elected to a third consecutive term as the president of the Greek Marinas Association (GMA) last week.

“The Greek Marinas Association, in cooperation with the competent authorities, will continue its work to modernize and rationalize the institutional framework that governs the creation and operation of marinas in Greece”, Mr. Katsikadis said.

According to Mr. Katsikadis, the association will intensify its efforts to create incentives to increase the competitiveness of Greek marinas in the South-eastern Mediterranean and promote the comparative advantages of Greek sea tourism.

The new Board of Directors of the GMA for a 2-year mandate is the following:

Nikolaos Koutsodontis, Gouvia Marina

Secretary General
Stavros Karnakis, Athens Marina

Treasurer
Panagiotis Pappas, Alimos Marina

Aggelos Kopitsas, Zea Marina
Ιlias Tefas, Cleopatra Marina

The Greek Marinas Association consists of 22 developed tourist marinas and was established in 2010 to represent, upgrade and promote the tourist ports and marina facilities throughout the country.

GMA’s main mission is the change and improvement of the national context of development, operation and exploitation of tourist ports.
