The association honored Nikos Skoulas and Makis Fokas for their longstanding and important contribution to the sector and Byron Argyris for his long term contribution to tourism and the travel agency industry. Nikos Skoulas was honored for serving the tourism industry through his various posts as (first) Tourism Minister of Greece, General Secretary of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), President of the National Council of Tourism and Alternate Economy Minister. Photo © Paterakis Makis Fokas was honored for serving tourism through his posts as President of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, President of the Hellenic Federation of Hoteliers, President of the Athens–Attica Hotel Association, President of the Research Institute for Tourism (ITEP) and Board Member of the GNTO.
