HATTA Honors Leading Figures of Greek Tourism

HATTA_NEW LOGO_MonoKefaliThe Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (HATTA) honored leading figures of Greek tourism during its annual general assembly held last week in Athens.

The association honored Nikos Skoulas and Makis Fokas for their longstanding and important contribution to the sector and Byron Argyris for his long term contribution to tourism and the travel agency industry.

  • Nikos Skoulas was honored for serving the tourism industry through his various posts as (first) Tourism Minister of Greece, General Secretary of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), President of the National Council of Tourism and Alternate Economy Minister.

  • Vyronas Argyris was honored for serving Greek tourism as the Governor of the International Chapter of ASTA and as the Vice President and Trustee of HATTA’s Board of Directors.
