AEGEAN Cancels Flights Due to French Air Traffic Controllers Strike on April 8-9

Aegean AirlinesAegean Airlines will cancel flights to and from Paris on Wednesday and Thursday (April 8-9) due to a French air traffic controllers’ strike, the Greek carrier informed in an announcement today.

According to press reports, the French SANCTA controllers’ union it protesting about “imprecise” offers from state employers regarding work conditions and retirement plans.

The cancelled flights of AEGEAN are as follows:

April 8th 2015
A3 612 from Athens to Paris
A3 613 from Paris to Athens

April 9th 2015
A3 610 from Athens to Paris
A3 611 from Paris to Athens
A3 612 from Athens to Paris
A3 613 from Paris to Athens

AEGEAN said efforts are being made to re-accommodate passengers on flights on following days.
