As the inaugural Ikos Resorts property, the resort will offer guests their first taste of the Infinite Lifestyle promise, Ikos Resorts’ dedication to re-defining all-inclusive, which includes the Dine Out Experience. Ikos Oceania (formerly Oceania Club) opened its doors on March 27 following the upgrading and expansion of the facilities and a full rebrand. Family Friendly Ikos Oceania’s changes include family friendly features such as the extension of the playground facilities and introduction of Worldwide Kids Company, offering comprehensive childcare to UK OFSTED standards. Ikos Oceania offers a selection of new accommodation designed with families in mind, including the one bedroom family suites and one and two bedroom deluxe suites with a price point encompassing an all-inclusive offering with the first child in all parties up to the age of 12 staying for free. Food & Beverage The resort’s dining areas have undergone renovations and refurbishments as have the food and beverage offering with guests now being able to enjoy unlimited visits to all the restaurants on site (Flavors buffet adult only zone, Greek restaurant Ouzo and Italian restaurant Fusco). The food and beverage additions include two new restaurants Anaya and Provence which will enjoy a stunning view across the new infinity pool as part of the expansion of Ikos Oceania which is due to be finalized in June. The a la carte services have been upgraded to feature Michelin star chef menus (Pourcel brothers, Giannis Vasileiadis, Andrea Fusco, Lefteris Lazarou, Chefs at Work) and new wine and cocktail lists. Leisure & Activities As for leisure and activity offerings, Ikos Oceania offers a fully equipped sports center, fitness studio and luxurious Anne Semonin Spa. In addition, full upgrades have been implemented throughout the property to meet the discerning standards of guests. The heated outdoor pool has been fully refurbished, along with the beach area and deluxe pool areas which have been bedecked with new sunbeds and umbrellas. For those who want to enjoy a more active holiday, a new 5×5 football pitch has been constructed and new bikes with unlimited free rental are available for those who want to take a ride and explore the local area on two wheels. The Ikos Resorts brand aims to open seven resorts within seven years, with the next property, the brand new Ikos Olivia set to open in May 2015.
