SkyGreece to Launch Direct Flights from Canada to Athens, Thessaloniki in May

SkyGreece Airlines will offer direct flights to Athens, Thessaloniki, Zagreb and Budapest from Montreal and Toronto starting May 17.

The airline recently announced the launch of its new website giving travelers the opportunity to book tickets directly for the new international routes it offers.

Starting May 17, SkyGreece will offer three weekly flights from Toronto to Athens and a weekly departure to Thessaloniki.

Furthermore, SkyGreece will continue to fly to Athens twice a week from Toronto from November to April 2016.

The airline will also offer a weekly departure from Montreal starting Saturday May 23.

Founded in September 2012 by Peter Chilakos, Nicholas Alexandris and Bill Alefantis – all of whom are Canadians of Greek origin – the airline will also offer flights between Athens and New York as of June 19.

In addition, SkyGreece will operate a year round service, non-stop from Toronto to Budapest starting May 20 and launch a seasonal flight from Toronto to Zagreb starting June 22 and from Zagreb to Toronto starting June 24.
