Anamar-Hotel-Pelion-ExteriorLuxury accommodation group Anamar announces the opening of its latest boutique hotel, the Anamar Pilio Resort, located in the picturesque area of Mount Pelion, central Greece.

Anamar_3Situated in the charming village of Hania at an altitude of 2,100m amidst a beech and pine tree forest, the Anamar Pilio Resort will be open all year long offering all the comforts of a luxury resort.

Just 1km from the Agriolefkes ski resort, the hotel, which retains the traditional Pelion architectural style, offers a wide selection of rooms and suites, and its lounge is an ideal meeting place for guests before they head off to experience the unique beauty of the region.

During the summer, visitors can enjoy the view from the hotel veranda before they indulge in the specialties served at the “Sommelier” restaurant created by Anamar’s in-house chef with local products.

As for catching rays on the beach and cooling off in crystal blue waters, visitors of Anamar Pilio Resort can take their pick. The resort is located some 25 minutes from Agios Ioannis Beach and the pure sandy beach of Papa Nero, 30 minutes from Damouchari Beach (some scenes of the Mamma Mia movie were shot there) and about 40 minutes from Chorefto Beach.

Anamar_IMG_0038Founded in 1982, the Athens-based Anamar Group of hotels and resorts is a family-owned business operating in the tourism and hospitality industry with hotels on Kea, Mykonos and Santorini.
