Athenians are Invited to ‘Visit’ Crete on May Day

Crete_afisa-ekthesis-2015-a4Athenians and visitors to the Greek capital are invited to become better acquainted with Crete and the island’s products at the third “Crete: The Great Meeting” exhibition that will kick off on May 1 at the Peace and Friendship Stadium (SEF).

For four days, until May 4, Crete’s local products, traditional dishes and tourism services will be displayed in Athens.

The exhibition will cast strong appeal to both consumers and trade professionals. Exhibitors will include agricultural and livestock producers and tourism enterprises.

During the “Crete: The Great Meeting” expo, visitors will have the opportunity to see, sample and purchase pure Cretan products and also enjoy a variety of musical, dance, cultural and informative events that will highlight the culture of Crete in all sectors.

On the first day of the exhibition, a special event will take place on the occasion of May Day.

The event is co-organized by Epikoinonies Kritis and the Region of Crete. Supporters include the Tourism Ministry, the Greek National Tourism Organization and the Municipality of Athens.
