incrediblue Sails Away With $1.8M in Funding, Sets New Yacht Rental Project in Action

incrediblue, the online platform for fully customisable yachting holidays, announced on Tuesday, the launch of incrediblue.com, after raising 1.8 million dollars in financial backing.

Travellers can now enjoy a hassle-free yachting experience via incrediblue.com. All they need to do is select a destination, boat type, preferred dates of travel… and pack their bags. Once the booking is received, the incrediblue team arranges the details.

Each one of incrediblue’s 3,000 yachts in over 100 spots across Europe comes with a handpicked skippers who know the ropes and boats are verified by experts.

The online platform connects yacht owners directly with travelers interested in renting a yacht or motor boat.

“People are tired of traditional holidays, and that’s why there’s a huge trend for non-hotel experiences,” incrediblue co-founder and CEO Antony Fiorakis explains.

“incrediblue’s product combines accommodation with transportation and gives access to a new way of travel. With a tap of a button, you can now book 5-star yachts navigated by expert captains for the same price you would pay if you booked a villa or hotel. The company has raised 1.8 million dollars led by Connect Ventures, with the participation of Seedcamp, Howzat Ventures, Firestartr, as well as existing investor Openfund. Sitar Teli of Connect Ventures will join incrediblue’s board of directors.
