Effective immediately, Travelport Distribution Bulgaria will distribute Travelport’s unrivalled air, hotel and car content and provide travel agencies with a complete package of leading technology including its innovative point of sale solution, Travelport Smartpoint which allows travel agents to sell more effectively and earn new revenue streams. Travelport content includes fares from approximately 400 airlines globally, including low cost carriers; an industry-leading 650,000 hotels properties; 35,000 car rental locations; 61 cruise-lines and tour operators and 12 major rail networks worldwide. In addition, Travelport offers innovative software applications for individual and corporate clients including, for example, Travelport ViewTrip, the online resource that provides instant, real time access to itinerary details as well as to essential travel tools including passport and visa information; and TripGate, the corporate booking tool that enables corporate customers to better manage business travel in line with their company travel policy. Kaloyan Vangelov, General Manager of Travelport Distribution Bulgaria, will be responsible for the delivery of the full range of Travelport content, products and technology to Bulgarian customers.
