Express_Pegasus_Hellenic_SeawaysFerry service from Lavrio to the Northern Aegean islands of Limnos and Agios Efstratios will resume on Thursday, June 4, following a 40-day hiatus.

The ship Express Pegasus, of passenger shipping company Hellenic Seaways, will operate the route Lavrio – Agios Efstratios – Limnos – Kavala four times a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) and Kavala – Limnos – Agios Efstratios – Lavrio three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday).

The Greek Shipping Ministry directly appointed the route to Hellenic Seaways after barring the Maritime Company of Lesvos (NEL Lines), along with its subsidiary C-Link Ferries, from running the service in late May.

The Taxiarchis ship of C-Link Ferries had not performed the route since April 27 (due to action launched by seamen demanding unpaid wages) leaving the islands lacking ferry services for over a month.

Details for the above routes can be found on the Greek Travel Pages (GTP) website.

For bookings please contact Hellenic Seaways or your travel agent.
