According to reports on Thursday, the closure is due following failed attempts between the company that manages the hotel and the Archdiocese of Athens, which owns the building, to agree on the lease contract. However, the employees of the Athens Lycabettus hotel will not lose their jobs as the hotel will be transferred under the management of another company in the Omonia district under the name Ambrosia Suites & Aparts.
