Travel Agency Body Chiefs to Meet in Basque Country in November

The heads of the trade bodies representing travel agencies worldwide will meet in Euskadi, Basque Country, on November 4-6, for the 3rd Summit of Travel Agencies Associations.

Organized by the Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies (CEAV) in collaboration with the Basque Tourism Agency (BASQUETOUR), the three-day event is expected to attract travel agency association presidents and CEOs from over 80 countries.

The summit will focus on challenges and increasing demands of the sector and will provide a ground of exchange of ideas, experiences and knowhow.

The 1st Summit was held in 2013 in Cordoba, Andalusia.

To date, over 46 international associations have confirmed their attendance, among them the WTAAA (World Travel Agents Associations Alliance), ECTAA (European Travel Agents’ and Tour Operators Association), as well as national bodies including Germany’s DRV, the UK’s ABTA and Greece’s HATTA.
