His funeral will be held at the cemetery in Voula, Athens, on Tuesday, June 30, at 5pm. A well-known figure in the Greek travel agency sector, over the years Spyros has served as president of the Greek Union of Air Travel Agencies (PETAGA), of the Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (HATTA) and ASTA Hellas. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the General Pan-Hellenic Federation of Tourism Enterprises (GEPOET). The family has requested donations to be made to the SOS Children’s Villages in lieu of wreaths and flowers. We, at GTP, express our sincere condolences to his family and wish them strength in continuing his valuable contribution to the Greek travel sector.
