Greece’s eurosNational Bank (Ethniki) and Eurobank announced today that they will be open for business, accepting deposits by individuals and companies during the bank holiday set to end on July 6.

During this time, at its 289 branches, National Bank will distribute pensions (by alphabetical order depending on surname), accept customer deposits and new applications for debit cards, will complete special order payments to Greek accounts and accept deposits through ATMs.

People with disabilities will have priority.

For information on operating branches a list will be posted outside all National Bank units. Interested parties can also call customer service on 181 818.

National Bank has more than 677 automated teller machines (ΑΤΜs) throughout the country (check www.nbg.gr or i-bankmobilebanking for ATM locations), which accept deposits credited to the account immediately.

Eurobank announced today that at its 174 branches operating within the bank holiday it will also distribute pensions and accept deposits as well as carry out payments to accounts within the country.
