On Wednesday, Czech Airlines informed Greek travel agents that it had decided to suspend ticketing authority via BSP Greece entirely, “with immediate effect and until further notice”. Also, Air Serbia has informed that as of July 8 it recommends credit card payment for sales in BSP Greece on Air Serbia documents. Air Serbia will accept cash payment by its GSA Intermodal offices in Athens and Thessaloniki and ticketing agent Goldair offices located at Athens and Thessaloniki airports. [Update] On Thursday, airlines Air Canada and EL AL both suspended ticketing authority for all IATA agencies in Greece with immediate effect. Travel agencies with servicing requests, can contact the airlines’ GSA in Athens TAL Aviation Hellas between 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday. Air Canada passengers with urgent day of travel ticketing requirements can use the airlines’ ticketing facilities at Athens Airport. The above-mentioned carriers follow a number of airlines that have suspended ticketing authority via BSP Greece.
