Kefalonia, Ithaca Featured in World Press

The Ionian islands of Kefalonia and Ithaca are taking center stage in the international press thanks to the ongoing efforts of local sector professionals and the Kefalonia and Ithaca Hotel Association.

As part of its ongoing strategy to promote the islands as primary tourist destinations, the hotel association welcomed UK travel journalists last week.

With the support of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) and Marketing Greece and in collaboration with local sector professionals, the Kefalonia and Ithaca Hotel Association introduced writers from Travel Weekly and Escapism Magazine to the islands’ major attractions as well as to the everyday life of locals.

Meanwhile, Hong Kong’s Weekend Weekly will also include Kefalonia in an upcoming story, while Italian travel magazine MarcoPolo features Kefalonia and Ithaca in its July-August edition.
