Video: Welcome to ‘Life on Ios’

The first video from the ‪#‎LifeOnIos, a creative social media campaign launched to show the other side of the famous party island of Ios, recently went viral on social media channels.

The video Welcome to ‘Life On Ios’ was filmed and edited by Peter Parkorr.

#‎LifeOnIos‬ is part of The Luxurios Storytelling Project launched at the beginning of July and jointly organized by LuxurIOS Island Experience, Travel Concept Solution and the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO).

During the whole month of July, on a week rotation, leading new media influencers from Europe, Brazil and the US will sample the island’s hospitality, participate in special events, swim the island’s crystal waters, taste local delicacies and present it all to the world through their videos. A total of 10 vloggers from 5 countries will present 10 videos about the Greek Cycladic island.

Part of the project is the Travel Massive Island Unconference on July 18-26, an experimental concept that aims to bring together tourism sector professionals to meet, collaborate and share ideas on how to rebrand and market a Greek Island for the future
