Air_France_kids_Air France has everything organized this summer to ensure its young globetrotters have an unforgettable trip. Every year, over 1.3 million children travel on Air France, including over 410,000 babies and 285,000 unaccompanied minors.

At every stage of the trip, whether travelling alone or as a family, Air France staff pay constant special attention to each child. The company has designed a tailor-made offer for these young passengers — dedicated areas at the airport, special in-flight entertainment, organic meals — so many little attentions that make for an unforgettable trip.

Make my drawing come to life!
Air_France_kids_1Since July 1, Air France crews offers all children aged 3 to 8 a new games kit on long-haul flights. Among all the fun games inside, there is a postcard to colour in with an exclusive new feature, a world exclusive. On the front, a plane flying over a landscape that children can colour in, and on the back, a download link to an original Kids App.
By downloading the App before their flight on their tablet or the family’s Smartphone, children can bring their three-dimensional plane to life by taking a photo of it!

Travel is child’s play, as soon as I arrive at the airport
Air_France_kids_loungeOn departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, for parents traveling in the Business cabin on a long-haul flight, their children can have fun in the dedicated Kids areas in the lounges at halls K, L and M in Terminal 2E. These areas have kids’ furniture, Sony PlayStation Vita systems, board games, colouring books and crayons; everything is designed to make their wait before boarding a moment of relaxation for parents and fun for kids.
In  addition,  at  Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly, Aéroports de Paris has introduced several play areas for young travellers on Air France flights.

More fun in September!
Throughout the year, Air France is constantly introducing new features for children. As from September 2015, in La Première, Business and Premium Economy on long-haul flights, a new kit specially for infants will be given to parents of babies and toddlers, containing a nappy, a bib, a square blanket, a small spoon, wipes and a Nivea face and body moisturizer.
Also, on all long-haul flights, there will be a new range of games on board. Dominos, creative bracelets, word games, etc. There will be three games for 5 to 8 year-olds, and another three for 9-12 year-olds.

Draw me “The Little Prince and a Plane”
Air_France_kids_2Air France is official partner of Mark Osborne’s film The Little Prince, released in cinemas in France on July 29, 2015, and soon worldwide. To mark the release of the movie inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s  hugely successful book, the company is organizing a new special competition on its social networks, with numerous prizes including the chance to win a long-haul family trip!
As of June 23, parents are invited to submit their  children’s  drawings  on  the theme of “Draw me The Little Prince and a plane”. Then, from 27 July 2015 and over one week, the company will publish the best drawings on its social networks, and also use them to respond to its fans in the form of messages relating to the film’s release, the Company’s family offer or as a response to customers’ questions.

In October 2015, Air France will be the world’s first airline to exclusively screen the film on board its long-haul flights.
