Organised by LeaderExpo, the three-day event will offer a platform of exchange for professional bodies, municipal authorities, entrepreneurs, tour operators and tourist agents as well as cruise companies, managers and marketing experts. The expo’s program this year has been enriched and will offer exhibitors greater collaboration opportunities with the global tourism market, as well as many useful business workshops to follow. One of the expo’s highlights will be the B2B meetings between Greek exhibitors and 100 international selected Hosted Buyers from 30 countries. New website The website of the Greek Tourism Expo has been revamped and is promoting a new marketing concept. Renewed, both in appearance and in function, the new website offers: • Complete information about the exhibition. • List of exhibitors and analysis of their professional identity. • B2B Online Program – Special program for the organization of B2B meetings between exhibitors and Hosted Buyers. • Visitor’s Matching Program – Program for the planning of meetings with exhibitors. According to the organizer’s the website already has surpassed 135,000 views from 28,000 unique visitors from Greece and abroad. Social media strategy Social media channels Facebook, YouTube, Google Plus, LinkedIn and Twitter will all play a significant role in the exhibition’s strategy to attract tourism visitors and professionals from around the world and the domestic market for both the B2B and the B2C program. Throughout the preparation of the expo, organizers will also launch a targeted email marketing campaign and promote the expo’s exhibitors to thousands of tourism enterprises in Greece and abroad. The first Greek Tourism Expo took place in 2014 and was established as Athens official tourism exhibition.
