Event News Greece’s Blue Flag Marinas Will Be Showcased in Scandinavia For the First Time by GTP editing team 28 July 2015 written by GTP editing team 28 July 2015 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 10 Greece’s Blue Flag marinas will be presented for the first time to the Scandinavian public at the 3rd exhibition for Greece and Cyprus Grekland Panorama Med Cypern on February 11-13, 2016, in Stockholm. According to organizers and tourism consultants North Events, the Swedish market is considered one of the most important segments for promoting marine tourism, as Swedish travelers are well known for their love for the sea and tradition in sailing. The practiced environmental policies and high quality services of Greece’s marinas will be presented at a dedicated pavilion in the exhibition. Taking into account the environmental awareness and perception of Swedish travelers, representatives will communicate the marinas high level of environmental standards that are in accordance with the internationally recognized eco-label of the Blue Flag. They will also inform and promote the services of Greek marinas to thousands of potential customers, as well as develop contacts for future promotions and offers. The Grekland Panorama Med Cypern exhibition will be held under the auspices of the Greek Tourism Ministry, the Greek National Tourism Organization, the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE), the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels, the Hellenic Hotel Federation, the Hellenic Association of Travel and Tourist Agencies (HATTA) and the Hellenic-Swedish Chamber of Commerce.
