The Dusseldorf Airport-based carrier joins over 100 airlines using Travelport technology, which enable its worldwide network of agents to access Hahn Air Lines’ flight content. Travelport Rich Content and Branding includes richer product descriptions and graphics, ancillary products and branded fares, all bookable through Travelport’s point of sale solution: Travelport Smartpoint. A listed travel commerce platform, UK-based Travelport operates in 170 countries and provides distribution, technology, payment and other solutions for the travel and tourism industry. “Thanks to Travelport, we can now provide travel agents and travelers with a richer understanding of Hahn Air Lines’ content. Travel agents now have the tools to present and better explain our products to their customers… We are convinced that the branded images and descriptions presented on agents’ screens through Travelport Smartpoint will help them promote and tailor our offering to meet the needs of travelers,” Hahn Air Lines GM and COO, Daniel Rudas, said of the collaboration. “We are delighted that Hahn Air Lines will drive growth for their flight business with our merchandising technology. Travelport is redefining travel commerce by introducing innovative new products that meet the unmet needs of the travel industry and we are pleased to be supporting Hahn Air as part of this,” said Robin Ranken, Travelport’s head of Airline Services Europe.
