Travelers on board Oceania Cruises will be able as of March 2016 to enjoy the gourmet offerings of Greece and six more destinations as part of its newest initiative titled “Culinary Creations Land Tours”.

The US-based shipping company announced on Tuesday, that it was launching culinary tours in seven destinations: Athens, Rome, Barcelona, Provence, Tuscany, London and Buenos Aires, during select voyages aboard the Nautica, Marina, Riviera and on its newest vessel, the Sirena.

Starting in Spring 2016, the “Culinary Creations Land Tours” will offer travelers the chance to learn from local culinary experts and explore food markets, cooking schools, foodie hotspots and attractions.

During their port call in Greece, cruise travelers will stay in Athens for two nights, where they will visit an open-air food market and sample local cheeses and olives. In the meantime, they will learn how to prepare traditional Greek dishes with the help of a top Greek chef and attend wine and ouzo tastings. Guests will also enjoy lunch at Michelin star-winning chef Lefteris Lazarou’s Varoulko restaurant.
