EU Photo Competition: Europe in My Region

The European Commission wants to hear (and see!) how EU investments are being used throughout Europe and celebrate projects that are making a real difference to local communities.

For this reason, the Commission is inviting the public to take a photo of a project receiving EU funding, with the plaque or billboard with funding information and the EU flag somewhere in the picture.

The next step is for the photo to be shared for a chance to win a trip for two to Brussels in October 2015.

In the Europe in My Region photo competition, the Commission will not only accept photos of projects co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund or the Cohesion Fund but also from other EU funds, if the photo provides evidence of the EU co-funding.

The deadline for submitting an entry is August 28.
