The Metaxas Group is proud to announce the arrival of a new member to its group of hotels, the Santo Maris Oia Luxury Suites & Spa, set to open it doors to the public on April 23, 2016.

Overlooking the Aegean Sea, the Santo Maris Oia comes to join Creta Maris Beach Resort and Candia Maris Resort & Spa, offering the finest in accommodation services and the very best in wellness facilities on one of the world’s most loved holiday destinations.

Situated in the picturesque village of Oia, on Santorini, the hotel offers holidaymakers a view to one of the world’s most spectacular sunsets. Santo Maris Oia’s 44 suites and four villas in traditional Cycladic style adorn the center of Oia, some 17km for the airport. Visitors can relax at one of the four outdoor swimming pools, jacuzzis or exclusive indoor pools, and then indulge in some of the finest cuisine at the “Aliios Ilios” restaurant.

Maris Hotels management aims to make Santo Maris Oia a top wedding tourism destination as the tiny chapel of St George on the hotel grounds provides an ideal location for that memorable moment.

Active in model hotel planning for the development of quality tourism, the Metaxas Group of Companies SA, owned by the Nikolaos Metaxas family, has since 1975 provided high quality tourism services on the island of Crete with Creta Maris Beach Resort in Hersonissos, and Club Magic Life Candia Maris Imperial in Heraklion, among others. The Group is also involved in real estate activities.
