Destinations news WWF Greece: #SaveGreekNature Now! by GTP editing team 7 September 2015 written by GTP editing team 7 September 2015 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 16 Greece’s natural beauty, its rivers, mountains and seas, are at the center of a crowdfunding for nature campaign on indiegogo.com titled #SaveGreekNature. Organized by WWF Greece, #SaveGreekNature invites everyone to participate in a campaign that will ensure the country’s natural surroundings will be passed on to the next generations. The campaign organizers point out that besides the social and humanitarian impact, the financial crisis in Greece has taken its toll on the country’s natural habitat. Nature protection laws are being changed in order to sell off Greece’s natural heritage and make a quick profit. WWF Greece invites you to take a stand: Help Save the Flow (of the rivers), Help Save the Breath (of the mountains), Help Save the Journey (of the sea turtles) because “It’s Your Heritage Too”.
