Transat Invites Travellers to Join Them in the ‘Atmosphere’

Inflight magazine now available as a mobile application

Air Transat’s inflight magazine, Atmosphere, is now available for download on iOS and Android tablets free of charge in both English and French. The new digital version of the magazine includes all of the content from its original print version and gives mobile customers access to a variety of bonus content including videos and photo slideshows.

Packed with information about Transat’s destinations, the best places to see and be seen, trends, technology and more, the current edition (May-October) of Atmosphere is surf’n’turf-themed and gives readers the low-down on everything from the two sides of Budapest and the best places to surf in Canada to the culinary delights of Greece.

Two issues of Atmosphere magazine are released per year. Once mobile customers have downloaded the application on the App Store or the Google Play Store a notification will be sent advising them that a new issue of the magazine is available for download. The next issue of the magazine will be available in November 2015.

More and more mobile, Transat recently released its new iOS Air Transat application for smartphones giving travellers access to their flight status, destination information and allowing them to download their electronic documents.

In addition, the Air Transat CinePlus application allows passengers flying aboard Airbus A310 aircrafts to access a variety of inflight entertainment such as movies, television series and music via Air Transat’s WiFi network using their own tablets or smartphones. The Air Transat CinePlus application is available for download on the App Store and the Google Play Store.
