Attended by more that 40,000 visitors, TourNatur is considered one of the sector’s most influential tourism trekking and climbing events. The Halkidiki Tourism Organization (HTO) participated in the annual exhibition for the first time with its own kiosk, aiming to introduce the wide variety of related offerings to a target market in Germany, as well as promote the idea of Halkidiki as an ideal all-year-round holiday choice. Among the activities promoted were hiking, trekking and cycling routes which combine the region’s natural, cultural and history offerings. The HTO also arranged two fam trips to the Halkidiki peninsula next month with the support of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO).
