Destinations news Hersonissos Launches Festive Cultural Events for World Tourism Day 2015 by GTP editing team 24 September 2015 written by GTP editing team 24 September 2015 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 7 On the occasion of World Tourism Day on September 27, the Municipality of Hersonissos on Crete has launched a rich program of festive cultural events running until October 4. “Here at the Municipality of Hersonissos, a popular destination on the world tourist map, we continue our efforts to support our tourism product”, Hersonissos Mayor Yiannis Mastorakis said. “We consider openness and promotional activities essential for this very important pillar of our national economy.” Among the highlights of the program is the Crete Art Fair Festival, which will take place at the Piscopiano Park from September 30 until October 4. During the festival, artists from all over the world will paint live in front of the audience.
