The exhibition is part of AIA’s collaboration with the Art-Athina International Exhibition of Contemporary Art, which is celebrating its 20th year. The “Final destination” exhibition is curated by the art historian Anna Chatzinassiou and contains the works of contemporary Greek artists that focus on interiors, cities and landscapes, depicting the natural and the artificial environment as it constantly changes. “The artists’ love for the Greek landscape is obvious”, an announcement by AIA said. The exhibition’s participating Greek artists include Venia Behraki, Alexandros Georgiou, Yiannis Hadjiaslanis, Alexandros Lambrovassilis, Nikos Markou, Margarita Myrogianni and Marina Vernicos. “Final Destination” will be on display until December 31 in the “Art and Environment” exhibition space on the Departures Level.
