Company updates Turkish Airlines Adds Flights to Miami, Strengthens Ties Between Greece and America by GTP editing team 26 October 2015 written by GTP editing team 26 October 2015 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 9 With existing services to Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Toronto, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Washington, Boston, Montreal, and San Francisco, Turkish Airlines has added flights to Miami as its 12th destination in the Americas. “We’re thrilled to name Miami as the newest gateway in the U.S. and proud to serve to one of the most influential tourism scenes in the world”, said Turkish Airlines’ CMO, Ahmet Olmuştur. “Our global network and award-winning service will make international travel easier and more convenient for both business and leisure travelers in this area.” New addition strengthens ties between Greece & the US According to Turkish Airlines, especially for the Greek diaspora in America, the launch of this 12th US destination flight strengthens ties with Greece and works as a bridge between not only Greece but also for the rest of the world. “In combination with the daily routes of Turkish Airlines to Athens and Salonica, the emigrant Hellenism have the opportunity for constant contact with Greek roots”, noted Alp Yavuzeser, General Manager for Turkish Airlines Athens. “Furthermore, the tourism industry gets access to one more connection with Greece, which reinforces the domestic tourism market”, he added. Beginning on October 25, Miami flights will be operated 7 times per week in both directions. Round trip fares are available from Athens to Miami (via Istanbul) starting at 499 euros (including taxes and fees). Price is valid for purchasing period between October 9, 2015, to November 20, 2015, and departure period October 25, 2015, to March 20, 2016.
