Event News Greece’s ‘East Med Yacht Show’ Changes Location, Goes to Piraeus by GTP editing team 30 October 2015 written by GTP editing team 30 October 2015 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 15 The East Med Yacht Show will be held in a new location next year, the event’s organizer, the Hellenic Professional Yacht Owners Association (EPEST), said on Thursday. After being held for many years in the docks of Poros Island, the event will be held between May 13 and May 18, 2016, in the Zea Marina in Piraeus. In its 15th year, the yacht show is an international exhibition where the finest crewed charter yachts will be presented to the most prestigious charter agencies and brokers worldwide. The show, designed to promote sea tourism and the Greek yachting industry, is organized by EPEST and the Hellenic Yacht Brokers Association (HYBA), in collaboration with the Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (HATTA) and the Hellenic Professional Bareboat Yacht Owners Association. The East Med Yacht Show 2016 will be held under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), the Municipality of Piraeus and the Greek Tourism Confederation (SETE).
