Event News WTM Team Releases Suggested Routes to ExCeL London Due to DLR Strike by GTP editing team 1 November 2015 written by GTP editing team 1 November 2015 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 22 Excel London The organizers of World Travel Market London have reassured visitors and exhibitors that travel to and from the WTM 2015 exhibition at ExCeL London on Monday 2nd and Thursday 5th November is as normal. “Industrial action on Docklands Light Railway (DLR) on Tuesday 3rd and Wednesday 4th November will cause minimal disruption to your journey”, the organizers said in an announcement. Visitors and exhibitors are advised to see suggested routes to ExCeL London below. Underground London Underground is running a full service to Canning Town Station. Bus Regular bus transfers and additional services will be put in place from Canning Town Station to ExCeL. Bus Routes 325 and 541 serve both Custom House Station (West Entrance) and Prince Regent Station (East Entrance) from Canning Town Station. 147, 300 and 473 serve Prince Regent Station (East Entrance) of ExCeL from Canning Town Station. Walk 15 minutes’ walk from Canning Town Station to ExCeL and a sign-posted walkway with staff also directing the journey will be in place. Emirates Airline Cable Car Alternative routes to ExCeL include taking the Jubilee line and getting off at North Greenwich for the cable car service. Thames Clippers is running a complete service from central London to The O2 arena, to join up with the Emirates Airline cable car. Emirates Airline cable car will then take you to ExCeL. The cable car service will be free of charge on the two days of the strike if you have a valid Oyster card or travelcard.
