We call upon all customers holding tickets for tomorrow’s flight to contact their travel agencies or go on to Lh.com (my booking) to view rebooking options. Furthermore we call upon customers not to come to the airport.” The union’s strike is part of a week-long walk-out due to a dispute over retirement benefits. The strike will affect short and long-haul flights under the Lufthansa brand at Frankfurt, Munich and Duesseldorf. In total, Lufthansa is cancelling 929 flights, affecting 113,000 passengers.
