An action plan, dubbed “Dodeka”, designed to make Greece an year-round tourist destination, will be officially presented to the world by the Federation of Greek Travel Agencies (Fed HATTA) and the Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (HATTA) during the 31st Philoxenia tourism exhibition in Thessaloniki.

HATTA_dodeka_1Translating into “12”, the action plan includes itineraries for every month of the year, inviting holidaymakers to participate in everything from Olympic sports and street festivals to sailing Greek seas and walking the trails of the 12 mythological gods of Mt Olympus.

“This is a dynamic proposal that aims to enrich the tourism product and extend the season in Greece”, Fed HATTA said in an announcement on Monday.

During Philoxenia 2015, which opens Thursday, Fed HATTA will also hold a two-day tax seminar aimed to shed light on the new tax legislation for Greek travel agencies.

Also, on Thursday and for the 25th year in a row, HATTA will honor the best travel agency brochures and websites at a special ceremony to take place at the Fed HATTA venue (pav. 15, stand 45) at 6:30 pm.
