GNTO Germany Builds Up Greece as All-Season Destination

As part of its ongoing strategy to extend the tourism season and promote Greece as an all-year destination, the Germany branch of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) presented “Greece – A Journey through the Four Seasons” during an event organized by German tour operator Heine Reisen in the town of Wagen, earlier this month.

EOT WANGEN 1Attended by representatives from Germany’s travel industry, including TUI, FTI, Alltours, Studiosus, Gebeco, Study Tours, Olimar, MSC Kreuzfahrten and Memmingen Airport, the event included audiovisual material on the Greek destinations including Epirus, Amorgos, Corfu, Astypalaia, Mani and Monemvasia that are off the beaten track and offer diverse experiences all year round.

Sector professionals were given the opportunity ahead of the upcoming tourism season to gain insight into the Greek destinations that can welcome travelers throughout the year and on the products available.
