Company updates Mouzenidis Announces Fleet Increase for Ellinair, New Offices in Cyprus and Germany by GTP editing team 17 November 2015 written by GTP editing team 17 November 2015 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 21 Ellinair, the private carrier of the Mouzenidis Group, will strengthen its fleet with Boeing and Airbus aircraft, the airline’s president Ioannis Mouzenidis announced during an event held last week on the sidelines of the Philoxenia 2015 expo in Thessaloniki. While presenting the carrier’s new flight schedule for 2016, Mr Mouzenidis said that Ellinair’s fleet will soon consist of a total of eight aircraft, two Avro RJ85, four Boeing 737 and two Airbus 319. He added that the company intends to double the existing number of aircraft by summer 2016. In regards to immediate future plans, Mr. Mouzenidis announced that the Group will open offices in Cyprus and Germany, two of its most important markets, and extend activity in western Europe. During his speech, Mr. Mouzenidis underlined the substantial potential profitability that Ellinair can offer travel agencies and stressed that cooperation is a key tool for mutual development. Moreover, during the event, the programs of Mouzenidis Travel for the Christmas – New Year – Epiphany holidays and for destinations in eastern and western Europe were presented. The Mouzenidis Group, which consists of a total of 18 companies, this year participated in the Philoxenia expo with an impressive 120-square meter stand. During Philoxenia, the group sponsored the “Destination Thessaloniki: 365 days” conference, which aimed to highlight the different forms of tourism offered in Thessaloniki and the wider region throughout the year.
